Your adventure begins as you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Upon arrival, our team from Sky Treks and Pilgrimages will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. After checking in, you can rest and acclimatize to the altitude. Later, enjoy a welcome briefing about the tour, where our guide will provide an overview of the upcoming journey. In the evening, you can relax and get ready for the exciting days ahead. After breakfast, the day begins with a guided tour of some of Kathmandu’s most renowned UNESCO World Heritage Sites. First, we will visit Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), perched on a hill, offering panoramic views of the city. This sacred site is significant for both Buddhists and Hindus, with its iconic stupa and numerous shrines. Next, we head to Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu temples in the world, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Located on the banks of the Bagmati River, this temple is an important pilgrimage destination for Hindus worldwide. From there, we will visit Bauddhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in Nepal, a place of peace and reflection. Our final stop for the day is Saga and Doleshwor Mahadev Temple, where we can witness the tranquility of this revered site. These spiritual landmarks offer deep insights into Nepal’s cultural and religious significance. After a fulfilling day of exploration, we return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Today after breakfast, we will embark on an exciting excursion to Chandragiri Hill Station, located at an altitude of 2,550 meters, offering spectacular views of the Kathmandu Valley and the Himalayan ranges, including Mount Everest on clear days. You will take a scenic cable car ride to the top of the hill, enjoying breathtaking landscapes of lush forests and snow-capped peaks. Once at the summit, you can visit the Chandragiri Temple and soak in the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. This peaceful escape from the bustling city allows for relaxation and rejuvenation. In the evening, return to Kathmandu and enjoy a free evening to explore the local markets or relax at the hotel. After breakfast, we begin the drive to Pokhara, a beautiful lakeside city known for its stunning natural beauty and views of the Annapurna mountain range. On the way, we will stop at the Manakamana Devi Temple, located at an altitude of 1,300 meters. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Manakamana, and it is a popular pilgrimage site for Hindus. To reach the temple, we will take a cable car ride that offers spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. After visiting the temple and offering prayers, we continue our journey towards Pokhara. The drive will take approximately 7-8 hours, passing through scenic hills, valleys, and rivers. Upon arrival in Pokhara, you will check into your hotel and enjoy a restful evening by the serene Phewa Lake. Overnight stay in Pokhara.
After breakfast, we will explore on a full day of sightseeing in Pokhara. Our first stop will be Phewa Lake, where you can take a relaxing boat ride, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. We will then visit the World Peace Pagoda, situated atop a hill, offering breathtaking views of Pokhara and the Annapurna range. Next, we will visit Devi’s Fall, a beautiful waterfall with a unique story and a popular spot for tourists. We will also visit Gupteshwor Cave, a sacred Hindu site located near Devi’s Fall, which houses a shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. The day will also include a visit to Bindhyabasini Temple, known for its peaceful ambiance and panoramic views of the city. After a day of exploration, you will return to your hotel to relax. After breakfast, we begin our drive back to Kathmandu. The journey will take about 6-7 hours, passing through scenic roads, hills, and valleys. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will check into your hotel and have the remainder of the day free for rest, shopping, or exploring the local area. If time permits, you may want to explore Thamel, Kathmandu’s vibrant tourist district, known for its shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
On the final day of your Nepal tour, after breakfast, our team will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure.
